Participate

Explorers - If you know a child in 6th-12th grade who would benefit from this program please contact Outings Staff at the Youth Bureau to find out if we have any available spots and register.  Space is very limited.

Trailblazers - Trailblazers serves rising 6th graders during the month of August.  If you know of a soon-to-be 6th grader who would benefit from this program call Outings Staff at the Youth Bureau to find out if we have any available spots and register.  Space is limited.

Pathfinders - Pathfinders serves youth in 4th and 5th grade who are enrolled in the Ithaca City School District.  If you know of a 4th or 5th grader who would benefit from this program you can either check out our Sign-up Form (link form) or call Outings Staff at the Youth Bureau to find out which session works for your student. To sign up for Pathfinders, please fill out this form and email to [email protected] or drop off at the Youth Bureau.

Adventure Programs - Adventure Programs serve youth 5 years old and up.  Many of our adventure programs can be found on Community Pass.  You can also request a unique program for your group or organization.

The Ithaca Bike Rental is open April through October (weather dependent).  Please visit our website for information on reserving bikes. For group reservations, please call the Ithaca Bike Rental.

Program Volunteers are an important part of the Outings Program. Program volunteers work alongside Outings staff to help youth develop their skills. We are happy to work with college students looking for service learning opportunities.
